Staff Spotlight: Jaime Combariza

Jaime Combariza is an an associate research professor in the Department of Chemistry. He became the director of the Advanced Research Computing at Hopkins back when it was first established in 2015.
Research Spotlight: Mario Bianchet

Mario Bianchet is an Associate Professor of Neurology, Biophysics & Biophysical Chemistry at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. His research focuses on macromolecules and the relationship between their structure and their biological function and dysfunction, particularly on human diseases.

All Rockfish Systems will be unavailable beginning Monday July 31st 8:00 AM EST and ending Wednesday August 2nd at 12:00PM EST. The Systems team will be performing major system and OS upgrades during the outage.

Research Spotlight: Professor Tamer Zaki

Tamer Zaki is a professor of Mechanical Engineering who focuses on transitional and turbulent flows. He received his Ph.D. (2005) in Flow Physics and Computational Engineering from Stanford University.
His research group, the Johns Hopkins’ Flow Science and Engineering (FSE), capture detailed flow instabilities and turbulence through high fidelity simulations.
