Rockfish Password Policies
Set your initial Rockfish/coldfront password
When you request an account, you are required to set your original password. Follow the requirement below. For security, we recommend you set a “unique password” for your Rockfish account, not one that you use for other sites.
Resetyour Rockfish password
If you need to reset your password, you can use the Rockfish coldfront portal to reset your password. You need to input the email associated with your account. A link will be sent to your email so you can reset your password.
Rockfish password requirements
Your password must:
- be at least eight characters long
- contain characters from at least three of the following groups:
- lower-case letters
- upper-case letters
- digits
- special characters, excluding apostrophes (‘) and quotes (“)
- be different from the previous three passwords you have use
- remain private; it must not be shared with anyone
- User are strongly encouraged to reset passwords once per year
