We invite all researchers, faculty, and students to present a poster at the inaugural HPC Symposium at JHU on April 2nd, 2025. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your work, gain valuable feedback, and connect with peers and experts in high-performance computing (HPC). 

Details: 

Location: Great Hall 

Setup Time: 12:15-12:30 PM (All posters must be set up by 12:45 PM) 

Poster Session: 12:50 – 2:00 PM 

Poster Removal: 2:00 – 2:15 PM (All posters must be taken down after the session) 

Guidelines for Presenters:

  • Posters should be formatted to fit the standard size 36 x 48-inch display area.
  • Ensure the text is clear and legible from a distance of at least 3 feet.
  • Graphics and images should be high resolution for readability.
  • Presenters are responsible for printing and bringing their posters to the event. 
  • To register your poster, you will need to provide the poster title and a 100-200 word abstract. 
 

Research & Computing Requirement: 

All posters must demonstrate the use of High-Performance Computing (HPC) resources, including Rockfish, in some aspect of the research.

This can include, but is not limited to:

  • Computational simulations
  • Large-scale data analysis
  • Any research workflow that required HPC support
  • Presenters should include a brief section on their poster highlighting how HPC/Rockfish contributed to their findings.
 
Please register your poster by March 24th at 5:00pm when you sign up for the symposium.
